`SILK` NO OBJECTION TO SCREENING

‘Silk’…Sakkath Hot maga that was immersed in controversy in the beginning when the title of ‘Dirty Picture’ was kept is now facing another disturbance from protestors and wrong reports that have come in newspapers and channels.

The screening of ‘Silk…has been stalled because wrong message going among the public. This has resulted in closure of theatres where the film was screening. This has amounted in Rs.8 lakhs of losses from Monday says Akshay on behalf of his fathers.

Akshay strongly protested the unnecessary trouble created by trouble mongers just looking at posters of the film. We have done Kannada cinema and not crossed the limits. Throwing cow dung on the posters is not permitting the collections and it was good earlier to it he says.

On the court case pending he said there is no objection to screening of the film. The posters and trailers should be curtailed is the only order that has been passed. We abide by the court orders said Akshay.

Karnataka Nava Nirmana Sene President Bheema Shanker Patil has filed a case in the court for the vulgar scenes in the film that is against to the society. In addition to it the ‘Silk’ posters are put in Bangalore much against to the law.

After hearing the argument the court has asked for stopping of film posters and trailers in TV channels till further hearing.
